Mindfulness opens the door to compassion

Our Mission

Presenting and promoting Compassion is a primary mission at Mindful Mountain. Mindfulness, Recovery and Compassionate Communication are the three pillars of Mindful Mountain philosophy and mission. “Promoting forward change…” is grounded in the concepts of mindfulness, recovery from dysfunction, and compassion in the family.

Compassionate action starts with seeing yourself when you start to make yourself right and when you start to make yourself wrong. At that point you could just contemplate the fact that there is a larger alternative to either of those, a more tender, shaky kind of place where you could live.

What We hope to Achieve

The three pillars Mindfulness, Recovery, and Compassion-in-the-Family are important for the wholistic approach to mental, emotional, physical and spiritual well being.

  • Mindfulness is the common denominator for mental emotional, physical and spiritual well being.

  • Recovery requires a mindful approach resulting in higher success at preventing relapse and promoting health.

  • Promoting mindfulness ensures recovery and promotes compassion and empathy.

  • Compassion-in-the-Family is a positive outcome when everyone has their needs met. Mindfulness and Recovery prompt empathy and spiritual health.
