Since 2006, Drew has incorporated mindfulness training in all of his consulting/therapy sessions. Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a core skill along with regulation of emotions (anger management), tolerance and reduction of distress, as well as applied compassion-in-the-family skills training (interpersonal effectiveness).
Our purpose:
Mindful awareness is paying attention, in the present moment (here and now), in a deliberate way (with intention), and most importantly without judgement. Applying this neutral way of perception results in improved empathy and compassion for others. Mental/emotional wellness is advanced by practicing MBSR. An easy way of activating this conscious way of being is to sit quietly and observe the breath.

What We've Achieved:
In April 2020 Mindful Mountain became our full time occupation and location.

Hipcamp is a comprehensive resource for unique outdoor stays. Individuals or groups can reserve tent camping or RV site for a maximum of seven days.
Meditation and MBSR training is optional.
